Instructions:

1. Install Chainfire 3d, its plugins and ES File Explorer
2. Install Drivers and tick Experiment EGL (might or might not work in your device depending on your ROM)
3. Make sure to go in default openGL Settings > Tick Reduce Texture Quality and Texture Size and select Qualcomm under Load Plugin
4. Download and extract "cm7 libs by yusepz" to the root of sdcard
5. Make Sure in ES File Explorer, Go to menu>settings>root settings > and Tick Root Explorer and Mount File System
6. Copy the Content of egl folder found in /sdcard/cm7 libs by yusepz/system/egl/HERE to /system/libs/egl/HERE
7. RESTART IS REQUIRED!
8. Now Install GTA 3 apk and copy the data in here /sdcard/android/data/HERE
9. Open up GTA 3
10. Accept user license agreement.
11. When download prompt appears, hit the back button and press home button.
12 In the status bar, touch the gta 3 notification to open up and Voila! You can play the game!

Hi Guys Today I will Show You How to Install Java Games in Galaxy Y by Using Simple Instruction this Mod is Shared by Xda member adnanahmad1786.





How to Install:

o Download jbed.zip & Cwm.zip from below Download section & Place in Sdcard

o Reboot in Recovery mode by pressing vol up+home+Power button together once you enter recovery mode touch screen become function-less so use volume up and down to move up and down, home button for selection and power as back button.

o Now in recovery mode select "apply update from sdcard" and navigate to the root directory of sd card and select cwm file "cwm-madteam-galaxY.zip" this will take you to clockworkMod Recovery.

o Now select "install zip from sd" and then choose zip from sdcard" From the directory select "Jbed.zip" and select yes.

o After installation complete Reboot Phone.

o After Reboot Turn on your Galaxy y &  look in the menu for the app called "Java", the icon should be a cup.

o You are Done!

Note :  the java apps run only in landscape mod

A lot of people probably have always wanted to be able to play again their good old Java games that they used to play on their past phones. On my LG KP500 I used to play lots of touchscreen games which don’t seem to be available for Android today. And as you all know, Android OS can’t just open a jar file when you tap on it. So in this guide we will make our Samsung Galaxy Y play Java games.

 

 How to install?

1. Download the necessary zip files to your SD Card (not in any folder).

2. Switch your phone off & boot in recovery mode.

3. Select apply update from sdcard.

4. Select CWM.zip and your phone will boot in ClockworkMod Recovery.

5. Select install zip from sdcard.

6. Select choose zip from sdcard.

7. Select JBed.zip which you have downloaded in your SD Card.

8. Select Comfirm-Install Java

9. Flashing will start and may last upto 10 minutes.

10. When you see message Install from sdcard complete, select reboot system now.

11. Your phone will restart.

Java is successfully installed!

Uninstalling Java?

Download & install any Root Uninstaller free version from Play Store & uninstall it!

There should be an application “Java” open that application whenever you want to play a java game or use an java app.

Note: You can’t play Potrait games as per as Galaxy Y’s screen resolution so only try to install Landscape java games and apps.

Nexus S To Receive SMS Bug Fixer

That Android SMS bug that took the world by storm a couple of weeks ago will be fixed on the Nexus S in the next few days. No longer will the 0.4% of you have to worry about the sexts to your office assistant landing in the hands of your mother-in-law. This is of course coming from Samsung’s Galaxy S support account, so it could be 8 months from now. (Kidding!)

So far, the ability to wirelessly stream the display of an Android phone or tablet to your TV has been limited to solutions like Miracast, but information spotted by Cyanogen Inc. cofounder Koushik Dutta suggests that will change soon. Dutta, who has been working on a similar feature (embedded after the break) for CyanogenMod 11 with AirPlay support, posted notes from the Android 4.4.1 patches showing APIs related to the capture of video output from the device. Currently mirroring from a Chrome browser tab on a PC to Googles HDMI dongle works, but so far on mobile devices its been locked down to just supported apps. Unfortunately, what hes seeing also indicates this API will keep things locked down to approved devices, so setting up receivers for other hardware like an Apple TV or Roku might not work. Between this feature, the Cast SDK that we hope will open up access to more developers and services, Chromecast support for the platform formerly known as Google TV and rumors of a Nexus TV set-top box, our list of most-anticipated TV announcements from Google is starting to get full.

Download Twitter Beta to get new features before anyone else for free

A number of social apps have turned to the Play Store to manage their betas. Weve already seen Facebook and Snapchat launch official beta versions to anyone who signs up for the privilege, and now Twitter is doing the same. The experimental build will replace the current Twitter app on your phone, unlike the Chrome beta that can exist side-by-side with the stable release. As this is a beta release, some features may never appear in the stable version, and some instability may appear that could eat your cat or infect your bed with bed bugs. Use at your own discretion.

Nokia to launch new 8 inch tablet in 2014

Nokia is getting ready to launch another new surprise for its dedicated users and this time it is supposed to be an 8 inch Tablet. The codename for the 8 inch tablet was first revealed in a social networking site, as Illusionist. So Nokia will present the gadget in early 2014 with specifications- Windows RT 8.1 and Qualcomm processor.

According to a reliable source of the world famous Finnish company, the tablet “will run on Snapdragon 800 and will have a 1080p resolution display. It will be faster and have higher PPI display than Lumia 2520 and will come with stylus support.” Right now Nokia has been working on several projects of Windows 8.1 and some notable products are Nokia Lumia 2520, Lumia 929 handset on Verizon and Lumia 1820. Rumors have spread already about the actual name of the device. Sources say that the tablet can be named as Lumia 2020 but the confirmation is a matter of time only.

While Nokia will be launching its tablet in the next year, so will Microsoft with its 7.5 inch Surface “mini”. News have been speculating for long that Microsoft will close its deal with Nokia in order to flourish its own hardware market globally. But due to pending regulatory approval both the firms are dealing with the existing products in order to avoid regulatory scrutiny.

How to Update Galaxy S4 LTE I9505 with Android 4 3 XXUEMK8 Jelly Bean Official Firmware

Samsung Galaxy S4 LTE version with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor has received a new Android 4.3 Jelly Bean update with base firmware XXUEMK8. The new official firmware is currently available as an Over-The-Air (OTA) update as well as through Samsung KIES.

Samsung Galaxy S4 (LTE) I9505 users who missed the OTA update notification or unable to access the update over Samsung KIES, and those who are residing outside Germany can now download and install the same manually, using our step-by-step guide.

Pre-requisites
1. Install USB Drivers for Samsung Galaxy S4 on the computer.
2. Enable USB Debugging Mode on the phone by navigating to Settings >> Developer Options.
3. Make a backup of all your important data before following the guide.
4. The Galaxy S4 should be factory unlocked and not locked to any particular carrier.
5. Ensure the battery of the phone is charged more than 80 percent.
6. The Android 4.3 XXUEMK8 Jelly Bean firmware is compatible only with the LTE version of Samsung Galaxy S4 (GT-I9505). Applying this to any incorrect variant might brick the device. Verify the model number of the Galaxy S4 by navigating to Settings >> About Phone.

Steps to Update Galaxy S4 I9505 with Android 4.3 XXUEMK8 Jelly Bean Firmware
Step 1: Extract Firmware zip file using winrar/7zip/winzip or any other extracting tool, you will get a .tar.md5 file and some other files.
Step 2: Extract Odin zip file and you will get Odin3 v3.07.exe along with few other files.
Step 3: Switch off the Galaxy S4.
Step 4: Boot the device into Download Mode by pressing and holding Volume Down, Home and Power buttons together until a construction Android robot icon with a warning triangle appears on screen. Now press the Volume Up button to enter Download Mode.
Step 5: Run Odin on the computer as an Administrator.
Step 6: Connect the Galaxy S4 to the computer using USB cable while it is in the Download Mode. Wait until Odin detects the device. When the device is connected successfully, the ID: COM box will turn to light blue with the COM port number. Additionally, the successful connected will be indicated by a message saying Added.

Note: If the Added message does not appear, then try re-install USB drivers or changing the port on the computer.

Step 7: Select the following files in Odin from extracted I9505XXUEMK8 firmware folder:

• Click the PDA button and select the .tar.md5 file.
• Click the Phone button and select file with MODEM in its name. Ignore if there is no such file.
• Click the CSC button and select file with CSC in its name. Ignore if there is no such file.
• Click the PIT button and select the .pit file. Ignore if there is no such file.

Step 8: In Odin, enable Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time checkboxes. Also, ensure the Re-Partition checkbox is chosen only if a .pit file was chosen in the previous step.
Step 9: Verify everything suggested in Step 7 and Step 8 is done correctly. Then hit the Start button to begin the installation process.
Step 10: Once the installation process is completed, your phone will restart and soon you will see a PASS message with green background in the left-most box at the very top of the Odin. You can now unplug the USB cable to disconnect your device from the computer.

Samsung Galaxy S4 I9505 should be now updated with official Android 4.3 XXUEMK8 Jelly Bean. Head over to Settings >> About Phone to verify the software version running on the device.

Note: If Galaxy S4 I9505 stuck at booting animation after Step 10 then go to recovery mode (press and hold the Volume Up, Home and Power buttons together) and perform Wipe data/Factory Reset and Wipe Cache Partition task before selecting reboot system now function. In recovery mode use Volume keys to navigate between options and Power key to select the option. Please note, performing wiping task will erase your device internal memory data and not external SD card data.
